Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Introduction
This Returns & Refunds Policy ("Policy") governs all cancellations, returns, and refunds for services provided by Savar Sethi Studio ("SSethi Studio," "we," "our," or "us"). By engaging our Services or making a payment, you agree to the terms set out in this Policy.
This Policy is issued in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and a separate written agreement between us and a client, the written agreement shall prevail.
2. Scope & Definitions
2.1 Services
SSethi Studio provides custom 3D art, game art, architectural visualisation, photorealistic product rendering, and related creative services ("Services"). Each engagement is governed by a separate statement of work, proposal, or written agreement.
2.2 Digital Deliverables
Because our Services produce custom digital deliverables (renderings, 3D models, artwork, source files), standard "change of mind" return policies that apply to physical goods do not apply. Each section below clarifies your rights and our obligations under Indian law.
2.3 Consumer
For the purposes of this Policy, "Consumer" means any person who hires or purchases our Services for purposes other than resale or commercial redistribution, as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Right to Cancel
Subject to the stage of work completed, you may cancel an order or project in writing at any time. The following cancellation charges apply:
- Before work commences: Full refund of any advance payment, less any applicable payment gateway or transaction fees.
- After work has commenced (less than 50% complete): You are entitled to a partial refund of advance payments, proportional to the uncompleted portion of the work, less a reasonable cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred.
- After 50% or more of the work is complete: No refund is due for work already completed. Any advance payments made shall be retained to the extent of the value of work delivered.
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we do not impose any cancellation charge on the Consumer beyond what we ourselves incur from third-party service providers.
3.2 Cancellation by SSethi Studio
We reserve the right to cancel any project at our discretion. In such a case, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for the cancelled portion of the Services. Our liability on cancellation shall be limited to the refund of amounts paid.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 When Refunds Apply
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:
- Defective or Non-Conforming Deliverables: If the final deliverables do not conform to the specifications agreed in the statement of work or proposal, and we are unable to rectify the defects after being given a reasonable opportunity to do so.
- Non-Delivery: If we fail to deliver the Services within the agreed timeline (unless delayed by force majeure or your failure to provide required inputs or feedback), you may be entitled to a refund of amounts paid for the undelivered portion.
- Service Not as Advertised: If the Services provided materially differ from what was described in our proposal or website, and the discrepancy is not corrected within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate or Erroneous Payment: Any amount paid in error or in duplicate will be refunded in full.
4.2 When Refunds Do Not Apply
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Change of mind after work has commenced or been delivered;
- Deliverables that have been approved by you in writing (including via email or messaging);
- Delays caused by your failure to provide timely feedback, approvals, reference materials, or other required inputs;
- Projects cancelled after more than 50% of the work has been completed (as determined by us in good faith);
- Services rendered more than 30 days prior to the refund request, unless required by applicable law.
4.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of approval, in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
5. Revision & Rework Policy
Before seeking a refund, we encourage you to request revisions. Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as specified in the statement of work. Revision requests outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges.
If you are unsatisfied with the direction of the work, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving concerns through collaboration before resorting to refunds.
6. Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution
If you believe a refund is due, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment processor. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue amicably. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in the suspension of Services and the forfeiture of any pending revisions or support.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to refunds shall be governed by the dispute resolution clause in our Terms of Service, which provides for good-faith negotiation followed by arbitration in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
7. Grievance Officer
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, any concerns or complaints regarding refunds, returns, or cancellations may be addressed to our Grievance Officer:

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge any complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days from the date of receipt, in accordance with applicable law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to existing clients via email. Your continued engagement with us after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
